The Galway Advertiser is by far the highest circulating local paper in the country, free or paid for, with over 50,000 copies published every Thursday. Our average pagination is 120 pages. 28,854 (ABC Jan – Dec 2016) are delivered directly to homes throughout the city, and also to homes in some county towns. The other 21,146 papers are delivered by bulk distribution throughout the city and county, and Thursday is known as ‘Advertiser’ day throughout Galway. We are the only local newspaper in the West of Ireland to still retain our ABC Certification.
We also email out a further 30,000 papers in digital format to subscribers each Thursday.
