The Health Management Institute of Ireland (HMI) is the professional body for healthcare managers across all sectors of the health service in the Republic of Ireland. We are a membership organisation. Our primary aim is the continuous development of standards of management competence and practice. The HMI meets the needs of the modern healthcare manager through informing, educating and involving its members and stakeholders in professional development and networking activities.

We achieve this through:

Keeping you informed and up to date with our online Journal Health Manager and regular email updates
Networking opportunities at our annual conference and regional meetings
Recognition of your status as a manager in the health services
Recognition and acknowledgement of the work of our colleagues in the healthcare sector with the HMI Leaders Award
The provision of high quality training and learning opportunities
The provision of high standard professional services
