Format: Tabloid, Newsprint. Ad Sizes: Full Page 330 x 261mm, Half Page Portrait 330 x 128mm, Half Page Landscape 163 x 261mm, Quarter Page Portrait 163 x 128mm, Eighth Page Landscape 80 x 128mm, Front Page Strip 35 x 261mm, Front ‘Ears’ 30 x 40mm. Ads should be produced in QuarkXPress with any scanned photographs or logos saved in EPS format (CMYK) in Photoshop (or Freehand/Illustrator). Photographs are scanned at a resolution of 200dpi and logos (depending on size) at 600dpi. The dot gain is 18% – however, we will check and adjust all preference settings as required. All fonts used (both screen and printer) and a printout must be supplied. The above is preferable; however, we can accept other formats whereby we will transfer the text and reset in QuarkXPress. Please phone first before sending. We can also scan any photographs or transparencies. We can accept CD, Jaz, Zip or Optical disks. No film to be sent – bromides can only be used to scan from.
