Synergy Risk Management is a Gorey-based group providing health and safety consultancy, training and equipment to businesses across Ireland and Europe. The group was established in 2001 by Declan Gibney, a Chartered Fellow and Member of Council of IOSH, and its involvement in health and safety management traces back to 1951, when John Gibney — then City Fire Officer with Dublin Fire Brigade — began supplying and servicing fire extinguishers in the city.
